Direct Care Affects Everyone

Thousands of Idahoans depend on direct care workers for their basic needs as well as the ability to live safe, healthy and independent lives. The low wage being offered by many direct care agencies does not allow folks who work in the field to earn a living wage. This is due, in part, to the low reimbursement rate offered by Idaho’s Medicaid program.
